WhatsApp has simplified the login process on Android devices as the Meta-owned messaging platform introduced WhatsApp passkey login support for Android

WhatsApp keeps working on new updates and features to improve the user interface; this time, the instant messaging app is working on a new camera mode that will enable users to switch between photo and video mode with just a tap. According to WABetaInfo, “With this feature, you can use the camera with a new experience by recording videos hands-free.”

The New Camera Mode for Photos and Videos

Earlier, the instant messaging app used to have the same option for photos and videos, which was very confusing for some new users who wanted to take a picture or record a video. With the new camera mode, users can easily switch between photo and video modes with a tap.

Is WhatsApp introducing a new camera mode?

The screenshot shared by WABetaInfo shows separate tabs for photos and videos. The WhatsApp update tracker website explained, “WhatsApp is finally making it more convenient to capture videos. In addition, you can now switch from front to back camera or vice versa while recording.” The best thing about camera mode is that some beta testers were already able to use the new feature, which is now available to everyone after installing this release.

New Text Editor

WhatsApp is also working on a new feature that will bring improvement to the drawing editor. This update will make it easier to edit the text inside images, videos, and GIFs, and you will also have several font options to choose from. With the new feature, users can switch between different fonts, and change their alignment and the background.
