Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, during his visit to the Business Facilitation Centre, addressed media queries regarding the portrayal of Baloch families in Balochistan. He emphasized that despite negative projections, Balochs stood with Pakistan; however, he raised concerns about terrorism in Balochistan as terrorists and armed militants involved in the killing of Balochistan’s people, targeting professionals like doctors, lawyers, and teachers.

Terrorism in Balochistan: Financial Support from RAW

Kakar pointed out a critical dimension to the issue, stating that these terrorists were receiving financial support from RAW, the Indian intelligence agency. He emphasized that the state’s fight was against these terrorist organizations, not the Baloch people. The prime minister underscored the gravity of the situation, stating that these militants, fueled by funds from RAW, posed a significant threat to the stability and security of Balochistan

Responding to media criticism, Kakar clarified that the government’s conflict was not with Baloch families but with terrorists funded by external entities. He expressed regret over efforts to create confusion and amplify the issue of Baloch families. The prime minister also acknowledged the challenges in the criminal justice system and highlighted the need for improvement
