To celebrate the one-year anniversary of its ad-supported plan, Netflix is set to entice viewers with exciting new features and incentives.

Netflix has restored its services after being down for almost 11,000 US users owing to a technical glitch during the live stream of the ‘Love is Blind’ reunion episode. As per Downdetector, the Netflix outage was reported by thousands of users who joined the platform to watch the live broadcast and entered the waiting room.

Netflix Outage: Company Apologizes for Ruining the Experience

Love is Blind, a show hosted by Vanessa and Nick Lachey, was to stream from Los Angeles starting at 5 pm Pacific. Netflix subscribers were able to join a waiting room for the show 10 minutes before the start time. But, it didn’t turn out as expected and the users were greeted with a message suggesting that the problem is being taken care of.

While working on the problem the company said that the show “will be worth the wait” with a photo of cast member Irina. However, the streaming giant had to issue an apology after the show did not air until one hour and 20 minutes after its scheduled time. “We are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We’re filming it now and we’ll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible,” wrote Netflix.
