The famous ride-hailing service Careem, currently known for the Super App for the greater Middle East and Pakistan has initiated a strategic alliance with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd. (PTCL) to provide the employees of the telecom company with cost-effective transportation solutions in their commuting needs.  

With this new collaboration, Careem will present dependable, comfortable, and favorable transportation for 16,000+ workers across various locations in Pakistan. To confirm the matters officially, a signing ceremony was inaugurated to mark the occasion at PTCL’s headquarters located in Islamabad and was attended by senior officials from both companies. 

Reflecting on the partnership, Mohsin Zaka, General Manager, Ride-Hailing, Careem Pakistan, stated:

“We are delighted to provide our corporate services to PTCL. Careem for Business is a solution catering directly to the evolving mobility needs of organizations. Collaborations such as these will undoubtedly assist companies in significantly improving mobility experience for the entire workforce through our platform which offers considerable control, flexibility and cost savings”.

Moreover, on the occasion, Syed Mazhar Hussain, Group Chief Human Resource Officer, PTCL & Ufone stated that they are glad to associate with Careem to present seamless mobility for their employees all over Pakistan. This partnership will be the means to create more value and availability for PTCL workers, but it will further guarantee a more reliable and comfortable mode for traveling.

Currently, Careem is offering cost-efficient, safe and unproblematic rides to various corporate partners, which include Jazz, K-Electric, Daraz, Telenor, Habib Bank Limited (HBL), United Bank Limited (UBL), Nestlé, Haleeb Foods, and Afiniti. Conclusively achieving its goal of simplifying and advancing the experiences of people using the service every day for their travel to and from work. Recently, Careem became a Super App, which consists of more than 800,000 Captains registered on its platform so far.
