Meta-owned, WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new Communities feature. According to the recent reports, the new Communities feature on WhatsApp will provide admins more control over groups. This will reportedly incorporate the capacity to create groups within groups. The latest feature is considered to allow admins the ability to invite new users through a Community Invite Link and then begin messaging other members.
The New Communities Feature Will Have a Slight Design Change
Furthermore, the chats appear to be end-to-end encrypted. It shows that a subtle design modification will enable users to distinguish Communities from normal group chats. The new Community feature icons are supposed to be squares with curved corners as per the report. The probability of the new Communities feature coming to WhatsApp was first detected by XDA developers in October.
As of now, it is not certain that when the corporation is intending to launch, the new Communities feature on WhatsApp. It may benefit the company to compete with other messaging applications like Telegram, which offer a host of features. Telegram, for instance, has channels and encourages groups with over 200,000 members.
WhatsApp is Soon to Get a New Sticker Suggestion Feature
In addition to this, WhatsApp recently launched three new features to its web version. The instant messaging app has confirmed that users will now be able to edit pictures on the web version too and preview links as well. WhatsApp Web is also getting a new sticker suggestion feature. Users will now obtain access to sticker recommendations when they type a message, which will allow them to obtain the right sticker for their talks.
Those who utilize a sticker during a conversation usually have to go through various tabs to find the right sticker, which disturbs the flow. Sometimes users can’t find the sticker easily. The new update will solve this issue.
