Mysterious Disappearance of Imran Riaz Khan
Imran Riaz Khan, a prominent YouTuber and television anchor, was arrested in the aftermath of violent protests that erupted following the arrest of PTI Chairman on May 9. After his arrest, he was last known to have been taken to Cantt police station and subsequently to Sialkot prison. On May 15, a law officer informed the Lahore High Court that the journalist had been released from jail after providing a written undertaking. However, his whereabouts remained shrouded in mystery. In response to the mounting concern, the Lahore High Court had set a deadline for the Punjab police chief to recover the journalist by September 26. Fortunately, his safe recovery has now put an end to the distressing period of uncertainty surrounding his disappearance.
