President Dr. Arif Alvi Got Severe Social Media Backlash for Playing Online Game

Pakistani Twitter users have been questioning the timing of President Dr. Arif Alvi’s tweet and criticized him for playing the online game, ‘Wordle’ instead of heeding to the country’s pressing issues. Journalist Talat Hussain criticized President Dr. Arif Alvi for playing a “silly game” while the country faced security and monetary hazards. “He has nothing to say even on the ongoing Balochistan terrorism events,” he tweeted.

Following the social media backlash, another user commented, “When Rome was burning, Nero was playing the flute. When Balochistan was burning, Alvi was playing online game Wordle.” A user questioned if President Dr. Arif Alvi had any idea about the crisis in Balochistan.
