In the recent news, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has signed exclusive agreements with the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) and Board of Investment (BOI) in Islamabad. The signed agreements indicate that the PITB will implement the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) which will considerably assist both of the administration departments.

Two ceremonies took place, in one of them DG IT-Operations Faisal Yousaf signed the agreements representing PITB. On the other hand, DIG Operations Mazhar-ul-Haq Kakakhel signed it on the behalf of NHMP, finally representing BOI, DG Administration Sajjad Hussain signed the MoU.

Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) Will be Used to Enhance HRM Operations 

Furthermore, senior officials from NHMP including DIG Operations Mazhar-ul-Haq Kakakhel, Addl IG HQ Khalid Mehmood, Addl IG Planning Development and Restructuring (PD&R) Sajjad Afzal Afridi, and some other notable seniors were present. The first agreement of the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) was signed with NHMP, under which HRMIS will be developed for maximum utilization of human resources at NHMP centers across Pakistan.

The second agreement of the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) was signed with the BOI for the computerization of the complete human resource system. The attendants during this meeting were Executive Director General (AS/EDG-1) Mukarram Jah Ansari, AS/EDG-2 Khashi-ur-Rehman, and other senior officials.

Several Government Entities are Using the Latest HRM System

The Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) has been launched in various government departments in Pakistan now. The HRMIS helps to replace the outdated Human resource usage with a new tech-driven effective system. This will assist digitize all the human resource data and services including, employees’ records and attendance, transfers, postings, promotions, and retirement, etc. The main objective of the HRMIS is to enable transparency and authenticity in the day-to-day work processes.
