A young fan of Babar Azam, Imad Khan, has lost his life to cancer. The captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team also met this fan at a private hospital in Karachi where he gifted him a signed autograph cap and advised him to not lose hope; the video of the meeting went viral on social media and netizens were in awe of Babar’s nice gesture towards a young fan.

Young Fan of Babar Azam Also Watched a Recent PSL Game

The cricket enthusiastic young fan of Babar Azam also came to witness the live match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmk that was played at National Bank Cricket Arena. For the unversed, Babar Azam used to play for Karachi Kings before he was transferred to Peshawar Zalmi in the latest season.

During the meeting, the young fan said that his favorite cricketers include Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi. Babar asked Imad if he wanted to speak to Rizwan, the boy immediately nodded his head and to his delight was connected to the wicket-keeper batter through Babar’s phone.

After Pakistan was knocked out of the Twenty20 World Cup semifinal, an 8-year-old fan wrote a heart-wrenching letter to the captain of the cricket team explaining the feelings of heartbroken Pakistanis, his hand-written note asked for signatures from Pakistani players. Babar Azam responded via his Twitter handle by calling Suria a “champion” and confirming that he would be getting the autographs.
