In what is now being called another horrifying case of a Thailand Honey Trap, three young men from Sahiwal, Usman Amin, Muhammad Ahmed, and Tajammul Shehzad, have reportedly been kidnapped in Thailand after being lured by Indian women online.

The group, joined by a fourth friend from Faisalabad, flew out on May 26, 2025, after maintaining weeks of friendly communication with the women, who even arranged airline tickets for their travel. For the families back in Pakistan, the trip seemed harmless until things went terrifyingly silent.

Soon after landing, the group lost contact with their families. It was later discovered that they were abducted and moved near the Myanmar border, a region known for lawless zones and trafficking activity.

The kidnappers soon made contact, demanding a ransom of Rs. 10 million for the safe release of the victims. The nature of the crime, paired with precise timing and organized logistics, has raised fears that this was not an isolated incident, but a well-coordinated trafficking ring operating worldwide.

Disturbingly, unidentified men were spotted at Lahore Airport during the group’s departure, hinting at the possible involvement of a local network aiding the foreign trap.

As the young men remain in captivity, the Pakistani Embassy in Thailand has come under fire for its complete silence. Families claim they’ve received no assistance, no updates, and no guidance despite repeated phone calls and appeals.

The victims’ relatives have urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take immediate notice. “Our children are stuck in a foreign country, and no one is answering us. We need action now.”
