Jazz Website Was Down due to Maintainance

According to the users, the Jazz website was initially displaying an error message suggesting that the company has simply failed to renew its hosting plan. The message reads; “This account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information.”  Later a Jazz representative confirmed to the local news media that the website was under maintenance which is why it remained inaccessible.

Jazz’s Revenue Drops 12.1 Percent

Jazz’s revenue decreased 12.1 percent during the second quarter of 2022 majorly due to the rupee devaluation whereas other reasons include an exponential increase in operational costs including fuel, electricity, interest, and forex rates. Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim said: “While we are continuously investing in expanding the outreach and capacity of our 4G network and driving the digital ecosystem, the telecom industry’s financial health is severely impacted due to unprecedented rise in the cost of operations; primarily fuel, electricity, interest, and forex rates.”
