It will contain a QR code enabling them to execute the payment from their crypto wallet, the company will then convert the digital asset into fiat currency. The report also added that Gucci has plans for all of its directly-operated North American stores to accept crypto payments by this summer.
Other outlets accepting digital payments
Gucci has joined another high-end fashion brand – Off White – in the list that has started accepting six cryptocurrencies in its flagship stores located in Milan, Paris, and London. Moreover, Gucci has also established its name in the Metaverse by purchasing the digital land in the sandbox. A statement from the company reads; “Sandbox and Gucci will collaborate to create an interactive fashion experience based on Vault, Gucci’s conceptual space and meeting place inspired by childhood memories of the search for beauty.”
