The new group voice call feature

The new group voice call feature will revamp the interface of the app window by bringing voice waveforms for all participants during a group voice call. In the new design of group calls, the profiles of the contacts will be more visual. When the communication is established, the profiles of the participants will be seen on the screen as cards in different colours. Moreover, the person speaking on the call will stand out, along with the voice waves from the microphone.

According to WABetainfo, although the changes in the design are quite minimal, they do give the app a refreshed new look. It is pertinent to mention here that another feature to improve the interface for voice calls is already enabled in this iOS beta, which includes the ability to use wallpaper for voice calls. However, there’s no way to customize these at the moment, but, the Meta-owned platform will likely tweak the feature in the coming weeks.
