The Realme 5i comes with a 6.5in 60Hz IPS display, complete with Gorilla Glass 3. The phone only gets to a maximum brightness of 265 nits, which makes it difficult to watch in broad daylight. The back panel draws its inspiration from Sun rays which do add a new look to the phone, replacing the usual diamond-cut pattern. On the right, you can find the power button while on the left side is the volume rocker and the dual SIM card tray with a dedicated microSD card slot. Located at the bottom are the 3.5mm audio jack, a noise-cancelling mic, a single downward-firing speaker, and, a micro USB port. The Realme 5i supports dual-SIMs and a microSD card at the same time that can be used to increase the storage capacity by 32 or 64GB.
Realme 5i boasts a quad-camera setup on the rear side. The 12MP primary camera has 1.25-um pixels and an f/1.8 aperture. The 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera packs an f/2.25 aperture. There’s also a 2MP sensor dedicated for macro shots and another 2MP for a portrait. The 8MP front camera comes with a beautification feature with specified settings for skin smoothening, face thinning, and others. Realme 5i can record up to 4k resolution videos from the rear camera. The front lens, however, can record 720 and 1080 videos. The most interesting point lies in the potential of its large 5000mAh battery that comes with a 15W fast charge support. It takes almost 3 hours to fill it from 0 to 100%. It also supports reverse charging serving as the power bank in times of need.
