The OPPO A15 sports an HD+ IPS LCD panel with a size of 6.52-inches. The display is limited to just 720p resolution which makes the content looks grainer. A15 body is made out of plastic which makes the phone quite lightweight (175g). The power and volume keys are on the right side, while there is nothing on the top and left edges. At the bottom, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, micro-USB port, and speaker grills. The phone is powered by a 4,230mAh battery and comes with a charger that is just 10W, which is not hugely fast but considering that it passes over a day and a half on a single charge it’s not an issue. The handset comes with a MediaTek P35 chipset that’s supported by either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. As for storage, you’re getting 32GB built-in storage that can be expanded up to 256GB by using the provided SDcard slot.
Coming to the optics department, there is a triple-cam on the rear side that includes a 13MP main, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth lens that works well with the main sensor. The 13MP camera works well under bright light and lives up to expectations. At the front, there is a 5MP selfie shooter which is supported with AI beautification. It features a 3P lens that shoots exceptionally beautiful portraits with rich backgrounds. As stated above the software is a bit slow as it runs an entry-level Mediatek chipset and a small amount of RAM so you can expect some delays when switching between apps or scrolling through web pages. Meanwhile, gaming is quite playable when it comes to basic games.
